A users review of the Hoveround Teknique XHD powerchair.

Hi,
I have a Hoveround HD  It's a heavy duty chair.  It's for people that weigh up to 500 lb.

I got it through Medicare & Blue cross Blue Shield & it didn't cost me anything.  It's one of the few companies that have a 100% warranty for 1 yr.  It don't cost a penny, not even for mileage & my repair man comes over 200 miles one way.  I had a couple of problems with my casters wobbling but, they got that taken care of. That was all the problems I had with it. It isn't the fastest machine in the world but,  it's dependable.

I use it both in doors & out. It really turns good in my apartment. I have some tight turns & I don't have any problems getting around. The seat is very comfortable also.  The only complaint I have is the motors are loud. You can't sneak up on anybody with it. The guy that comes to repair the chair calls you first & asks you what kind of a problem you have & then he brings all the parts that he thinks he needs & then some. I've never had him come over here & have him not have the parts to repair it. I like my Hoveround.
